Swords and mythology, gods and goddesses, action, adventure, and lightning bolts, all of these and more come to you in a little blue package marked Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Take the son of Poseidon (Kevin McKidd), the daughter of Athena (Melina Kanakaredes), and a satyr protector in-training and you have a really awesome movie for teens, adults, and everyone in between.  Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) seems to be a lost soul, finding himself at a seeming crossroads as high school seems to be testing him beyond what he would expect. Besides the typical homework and testing he faces, dyslexia and mythological creatures masquerading as teachers come out of nowhere. 

Sometimes the real world is so much harder to live in than a fantasy world, and that is exactly Christopher Wilde (Sterling Knight from “Sonny with a Chance”) discovers on a life changing journey through the glitz and glamour of Hollywood in the Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment release of the hit DCOM Starstruck. Preparing for their trip to Hollywood, California to see their grandmother, we meet Jessica Olson (Danielle Campbell) and her sister Sara (Maggie Castle). Typical sisters, they seem to fight nonstop especially now over Sara’s obsession with Christopher Wilde.  (More Inside)

The third installment of the Air Bud series finds both Josh (Kevin Zegars) and Buddy looking for love on the soccer field, as Josh pursues a young lady, Emma Putter (Brittany Paige Bouck), on the soccer field and Buddy pursues Molly, her dog.  Josh joins the soccer team after Emma, a transfer student from England joins the boys team at her new school, and Buddy as always comes along to help Josh out.  Bring in the puppies that come from the meeting of Buddy and Molly and you have a plethora of pretty puppies to catch the eyes of your young ones.

The biggest movie ever makes its way on DVD and Blu-ray as James Cameron’s Avatar hits the shelves much like it did the movie screens, like a whirlwind.  The biggest movie in history on the movie screen has also become a smash hit on Blu-ray and DVD.  So much so in fact, that this reviewer had to wait for the second wave of review copies.  Is it worth the wait?  Considering I did not see it on the big screen (worrying it was too much hype), the wait was worth it!  The visuals and movie itself is an amazing cinematic wonder with amazing concepts and a whole new world to escape to.

Whether dreams come true or not, the dreaming is what keeps us strong, keeps us striving, and keeps us living.  Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson) is known as the Tooth Fairy on the hockey ice as this bruiser prides himself on the dental work needed after his bone-crushing hits.  But he was not always this way, as his dreams of success in the NHL were ended after a shoulder injury caused him to give up on his dreams.  Even as his dreams ended, he took pride in ending others’ dreams, including those of the children who idolized him.  The last straw comes when he tries to crush the dreams of his girlfriend Carly’s (Ashley Judd) little girl Tess (Destiny Whitlock), who awaits the Tooth Fairy coming for her tooth. What happens when a big-city girl finds her world thrown completely up in the air, and finds herself in a world not her own with a father she has never really known?  Well, her life changes in so many ways, and with the help of a head-strong wild mustang by the name of Flicka she find that her new world may have been just what she needed. Some things only get better with time it seems, and the re-release of The Great Mouse Detective is definitely one of them.  When our library seems filled with princesses and computer animation, sometimes a little mouse can remind us of our past and share lessons with our future generations.  The toymaker Hiram Flaversham (voiced by Alan Young) is taken from his home in a daring attack by a crippled one-legged bat and only through quick thinking is able to hide his daughter Olivia (Susanne Pollatschek) before she is taken as well.

Who would have thought that three little woodland creatures could have become the worldwide sensations that they are today. Alvin (Justin Long), Simon (Matthew Grey Gubler), and Theodore (Jesse McCartney) ended up walking into Dave Seville’s (Jason Lee) life, and his world was never the same.  The Squeakquel picks up after the original movie as Alvin and the boys prepare to enter high school, fresh off of a benefit concert in Paris in which Dave ends up with the typical cartoon injury with body cast, prolonged hospital visit, and all.

What does a man do when he feels that his career defines him?  Even better, what does a fox do?  From the children’s novel by Roald Dahl, the author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, comes the stop-motion animated masterpiece Fantastic Mr. Fox.  While on a squab raid, Fox (voiced by George Clooney) and his wife Felicity (Meryl Streep) are caught in a fox trap that leads Felicity to share the news that she is pregnant and at the same time she requests a promise from Fox that if they do survive, she wants him to leave his career as a thief. 

One of the most anticipated films of the year finally makes its way to DVD and Blu-ray as Summit Entertainment releases "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" in a special edition two-disc set which is bound to have Twilight fans spinning off into a frenzy with all of the bonus features.  In "New Moon," the fantasy/romance epic of the Twilight Saga defines itself in the second chapter of the series and sheds light upon the continuing love triangle between Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart), Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson), the immortal vampire, and Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner), the new-to-the-pack werewolf.

An amazing undertaking once again by Disney as it returns to the musical, hand-drawn animation from its past and nails the time, trend, and texture of old New Orleans in the brand-new Blu-ray and DVD release of The Princess and the Frog. Hollywood Teen'Zine was given the chance to explore the movie experience special engagement held last year and now get the chance to revisit the world of The Princess and the Frog once again as it arrives on Disney Blu-Ray and DVD.

Take a fairy tale from long ago by Hans Christian Anderson, the award winning director Hayoo Miyazaki, and amazing vocal talents from many of your favorite actors/actresses such as Cate Blanchett, Noah Cyrus, Frankie Jonas, and Betty White and you have the amazing animated feature Ponyo. The collaboration between Ghibli Studios and Disney has brought the movie from Japan to the American shore for both kids and adults to enjoy on equal measures. 

Love is like ice cream, just because you love chocolate does not mean you can not love strawberry.  Josh Framm (Kevin Zegers) learns this the hard way as life continues on for him and his mom Jackie (Cynthia Stevenson) in this second installment of the Air Bud saga.  A new man in his mother’s life sends Josh off the deep end as he tries all he can to find faults in Dr. Patrick (Gregory Harrison) and break up the relationship between his mom and the doctor.  Of course in the end, with the help of our hero of a dog, Josh realizes that he can still love the dad he had and another father figure in his life at the same time.

Just in time for the Olympics and Valentine’s Day, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment releases a movie based on one of America’s favorite winter sports, figure skating.  When a small town girl gets the chance of a lifetime, she discovers that everything she ever dreamed of was right in front of her but fears she may not see the dream play out as she had imagined.  Taylor Firth stars in a remake of the 1978 figure skating classic Ice Castles directed once again by Donald Wrye. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases the new thrilling romantic film Free Style onto DVD today.  The film stars Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Madison Pettis (The Game Plan) and Penelope Ann Miller (Kindergarten Cop), with music from star Corbin Bleu and The Jonas Brothers.  Corbin Bleu brings his passion for adventure and fun into this heartwarming family film.   This marks Corbin’s first attempt at producing a full length feature film, which was something that he was extremely excited to touch upon.  Read our review of the film inside and be sure to pick up your copy today through Amazon.com.

Ryden Malby (played by Alexis Bledel) faces a movie version of our current times as she realizes that the college degree she has long desired and planned for is not always worth its weight in gold.  Yet even as things fall apart around her, she begins to discover that all her planning on having control and the world in her hands was not focused on what she really needed in life.  Luckily there is family and friends to steer her in the right direction, whether she wanted it or not. When the world’s in trouble, who ya gonna call?  Ok, Ghostbusters would be my first answer too, but G-Force is choice number two.  G-Force is an elite group of highly trained agents who are more than they appear to be, especially since they appear to be small furry rodents.  Starring an A-Team of vocal talent with Sam Rockwell, Nicolas Cage, Jon Favreau, Tracy Morgan, and Penelope Cruz as the G-Force team (with Steve Buscemi providing the voice of a crazy hamster Bucky), this small yet resourceful team takes on a billionaire’s (Bill Nighy) plan for world domination, with a little issue with a mole on the team that causes a hiccup along the way.

Larry Daley (played by the booming Ben Stiller) is back for a second go at the crazed antics of a mystical museum as the tablet of Ahkmenrah brings to life a new cast of characters in the Smithsonian Archives, including Ahkmenrah’s evil brother Pharaoh Kahmunrah (played by a scene-stealing, lisping Hank Azariah).  In order to free his friends Larry must help Kahmunrah and his minions, Al Capone, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Ivan the Awesome (also known as the Terrible).  Even with the world in peril, Larry and his museum friends, both new and old, lead the charge into battle and save the world from its pending doom.  Excellent actors get to lend their talents to new museum pieces including Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart, Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt’s bust, Christopher Guest as the aforementioned Ivan, and many returning friends like Owen Wilson as Jed makes this a historic undertaking through the Smithsonian. This movie starts like a Chevy Chase family vacation film and becomes an invasion of our planet from an alien scout team.  For such an odd premise, the movie does have a heart of gold.  The truth of the tale lies in the father-son relationship (or lack of one) between Stuart Pearson (Kevin Nealon) and Tom (Carter Jenkins).  Tom has reached the awkward age where smarts are a beacon towards conflict, so he decides to play dumb.  This puts him even further from the family until the aliens enter the picture. 5 puppies, 5 distinct personalities, and a whole mess of holiday spirit are mixed together in this continuing adventure in the Buddies saga, Santa Buddies – The Legend of Santa Paws.  When Puppy Paws, the son of Santa Paws, starts believing that Christmas needs to be long gone from his life, the Christmas icicle starts losing power and Christmas is in danger of never happening again.  (Keep Reading!)

The Disney and Pixar team has brought out a special four disc re-release of Monsters Inc., timed to release alongside the new Pixar release UP (also by director Pete Docter) on Tuesday November 10, 2009.  Monsters, Inc. was originally the fourth release by the Pixar Animation studios in 2001 and focused on the world behind the closet doors that was populated by the monsters of our nightmares.  (Keep Reading)

Never judge a book by its cover!  At first glance, the idea of a grumpy old man, an overeager Wilderness Explorer, and a house full of helium balloons could lead you to believe that the Pixar people ran out of good ideas and are just cruising on the strength of their animation. WRONG!!! This story is a classic quest for something missing in our lives.  Carl Fredricksen (voiced by the immortal Ed Asner) is the crotchety old man who has lived a life which has just been turned upside down, and after a heart breaking loss realizes there is something missing in his life. In what may be the final animated adventure of our eclectic Ice Age pack, our warm blooded mammals find themselves on the other end of some cool customers – some cold-blooded dinosaurs.  A new edition is coming to the pack as Manny and Ellie prepare to welcome their little one to the world, and this threatens to break the pack apart due to jealousies and feelings of complacency. Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure takes place a short time before the Autumn Revelry in which the blue moon will rise and restore the pixie dust tree.  Needless to say, Tinker Bell is given an important task which does not go the way she expects it.  This movie puts Terence in the forefront at Tink’s best friend and confidant who tests her resolve, as well as shows her the hidden strength she never expected.  And along the way, she finds the greatest treasure of all. An excellent dual collection of short movies continuing the stories of two of the Disney Princesses, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and Jasmine from the Aladdin movies.  The return to these characters brings positive messages for our kids to hold onto, as Aurora learns that a difficult job takes hard work and perseverance, and shortcuts can just make that job more difficult.  Jasmine learns that responsibility must be earned, not just given. All alone in a new city without any friends, Josh spends his time doing the one thing that makes him happy, playing basketball.   While playing basketball should be fun, Josh finds himself too shy to make friends and winds up playing alone.  Things begin to look up for Josh when he bumps into the one thing that would change his life around, a runaway golden retriever dog named Buddy.

Paramount Home Entertainment releases Volumes 4 and 5 of their Centennial Collection.  The newest films to be added to this collections are the renowned classics Breakfast at Tiffany's and Funny Face, both starring the adorably whitty Audrey Hepburn.

The world of imaginary fairy tales is back with a great new adventure.  Disney has released a new movie based on everybody’s favorite fairy, Tinker Bell.  You remember her from Peter Pan and Hook, now is your chance to find out how this little fairy got her start.

Iron Man is not your stereotypical superhero film where the good guy concurs all. In fact, Tony Stark begins his journey as an arms manufacturer who builds weapons of mass destruction. After being attacked and almost killed during a convoy in Afghanistan, Tony Stark realizes that the weapons he created have harmed or killed innocent victims, including him.

Everyone knows that High School Musical 2 is a “fabulous” movie, but this special Deluxe Dance Edition will leave you screaming “I WANT MORE.”  The East High Wildcats are on summer vacation and it cannot get any more exciting than that . . . or can it? The kids all take jobs at the local country club that Sharpay’s father owns and they put on a talent show for the guests.

If you haven't heard of The Godfather trilogy then you probably have been living underneath a rock for the past 30+ years.  If that is the case, then you are definitely missing out on one of the greatest American film series ever made!  Al Pacino and Marlon Brando received rave reviews and acclamations for their portrayal of Vito and Michael Corelone.  The film won the Academy Award in 1972 for Best Picture and Best Directing.

The Love Guru is a delightful comedy that will have you laughing from beginning to end.  Mike Myers stars as the master of emotions, Guru Pitka.  He has hosted seminars all over the world and has released several self-help books with ridiculous titles, which makes Pitka ranked the second best healer in the world. 

Walt Disney Home Entertainment has just re-released their classic hit film 101 Dalmatians. This live-action feature film is guaranteed to entertain children of all ages for many years to come. Roger (Jeff Daniels) and Anita (Joely Richardson) take their Dalmatian puppies Pongo and Perdy on a bicycle adventure through the park, which ultimately leads in both owners driving their bikes right into the lake.

Charlie Bellow (Jesse Bradford) is your typical straight A student who has high goals set in his life. The story begins with Charlie explaining that this is the "first and last time I ever fell in love." The story then flashes back to the first time Charlie met his first and last love.

Have you ever wondered if the phrase "what happens In Vegas, stays in Vegas" is really true? Well, you will find out the answer when watching 20th Century Fox's newest release, "What Happens In Vegas."

This is not your typical children's film where fantasy overrides reality. Instead, its a heartfelt adventurous film about a girl who seeks independence through her adventures, but learns that having her family beside her is the most important thing in her life.

Sara Davies (Leah Pipes) is 15-years old and has spent her entire life dedicated to soccer with the goal of becoming part of the U.S. National Soccer Team. With trials coming up, Sara finds herself putting all of her focus on the sport. Her father Gil (Scott Patterson) is her soccer coach and pushes her even harder to perform all her best moves.

Hollywood Teen'Zine was invited onto the set of FRED: THE MOVIE yesterday to catch a a glimpse of Jennette McCurdy's last day of filming as Bertha.  The movie is being shot out of an actual house located in Chatsworth, CA rather than a makeshift house built in a studio!  It was a cold and rainy day when we arrived on the set of Fred, but that didn't hold up production as all of the scenes filmed in the movie were shot inside the house.  Yesterday marked the 18th day of filming out of the 25 day shoot.  Lucas Cruikshank arrived back from lunch break first and interviewed with a few select outlets in the backyard during a break from the rain.  Because it was Jennette's last day of filming the schedule was pretty tight and Jennette only had time to interview with everyone as a group! Jennette shared her excitement to be cast as Bertha in the film adaptation of the popular YouTube series, which was created by Fred himself Lucas Cruikshank.  Lucas admitted that he couldn't go a day without breaking something on set and Jennette teased him about it.  Check out these photos we captured from the set and be sure to come back soon for our interview with Lucas and Jennette! HTZ was invited to cover the Los Angeles premiere of Nicholas Sparks' newest-book-turned film adaptation of Dear John on Monday night at the infamous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.  Some of the celebrities in attendance included Tiffany Thornton, Bella Thorne, Amanda Seyfried, Channing Tatum, Deja Kreutzberg, Shelby Young, Madisen Beaty, Max Ehrich, Gregg Sulkin, Kellan Lutz and many more.  Check out some of the moments we captured on the red carpet and look for our video interviews to appear soon.  Dear John opens nationwide in theatres tomorrow!

TIFFANY THORNTON was glowing on Monday night as she revealed her
engagement exclusively to Hollywood Teen'Zine!

Universal made the official announcement recently that production has began on the sequel to the 2002 hit film Blu Crush, all together with a brand new cast that includes Sasha Jackson (One Tree Hill), Sharni Vinson (Step Up 3D), Elizabeth Mathis (Enchanted), Ben Milliken (Newcastle) and newcomer Chris Fisher.  Blue Crush 2 follows Dana (Jackson), a young California girl as she trecks across her late mother's beloved South African beaches riding some of the world's most spectacular waves, while making lifelong friends and gaining new insights into her past and future.  With her mom's journal in hand and a mismatched gang of surf fanatics watching her back, Dana embarks on an odyssey along breathtaking southern coast of Africa to fullfill her mother's dream - one long, flawless journey down the barrel of the killer waves of J-Bay.  Production has began along the South Africa coastline and will feature some of the most picturesque beaches on the planing, including the renowned "home of the perfect wave," Jeffrey's Bay (aka J-Bay), North Beach, Glenmore, Banana Beach and Coffee Bay.  Look for Blue Crush 2 to release directly to DVD in Spring 2011.

The Jonas Brothers are making the press rounds promoting their upcoming DCOM Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. This morning the brothers made a special appearance on Fox & Friends and discussed Joe's 21st birthday, the Camp Rock 2 movie, the soundtrack, the tour and even take a few questions from the fans in the audience!  Check out the whole interview below!

During their visit at GMA the cast of Disney's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam performed a few songs for hundreds of screaming fans.  Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato performed their duet "Wouldn't Change A Thing" from the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack, which is now available for purchase through iTunes.  The Jonas Brothers performed "Heart And Soul" during the live teleacast on ABC.  The Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam cast and tour crew also made an appearance performing the energetic song "It's On" giving fans a sneak peak at the tour that is currently making waves across the U.S . Joining Demi Lovato on stage for the musical dance number were Alyson Stoner, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Matthew "Mdot" Finley.  Check out the video clip below that a fan took from the audience!

Disney held the launch of their new interactive game "World of Cars" on Wednesday at the Bob's Big Boy in Burbank, CA. We bumped into Cheech Marin (Cars), Taylor Spreitler (Melissa & Joey), Bradley Steven Perry (Good Luck Charlie), Vincent Martella (Phineas & Ferb), Allisyn Ashley Arm (Sonny With A Chance) and David Lambert (Aaron Stone) on the red carpet where we got the scoop on what they are looking forward to most with the game. The World of Cars event was a success yesterday as many of the stars came out to celebrate the launch of the brand new game.  The event drew fans of all ages to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank, CA, including voices from the Cars animated film Cheech Marin and Jenifer Lewis, along with celebrity fans Tori Spelling, Chloe Bridges, Bradley Steven Perry, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler, Nick Robinson and many more!  Even Walt Disney Company President and CEO Roberg Iger made a rare special appearance at the event.  We send down JAM and Natalia to cover the big event and bring YOU the scoop on this fun new game!  (Keep reading for more details)

Ahhh the craft service table can be a dangerous thing for anyone who visits the set of a television or movie production. While they typically have some healthy snacks like vegetable trays, energy bars, water, etc., for the most part the table consists of sugary junk food snacks to keep everyones energy alive for those long painful days of shooting. We caught up with Jennifer Stone on the set of Mean Girls 2 where she spilled what her craft service weaknesses are! What is YOUR junk food weakness?

Some fun events are coming to the Disney Channel leading up to the premiere of the most anticipated DCOM of the year, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, starring Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Meaghan Martin, Alyson Stoner and Chloe Bridges!  This special event weekend will include four events, each celebrating music and fance with a storyline that suggests life is about the way you play.  The fun begins on September 3rd and will end on September 6th.  An extended edition of the movie featuring two new music numbers will be available on Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on September 7th.  Keep reading to find out the full schedule of events!

We went on the set of Mean Girls 2 last month in Atlanta, GA where we chatted with Meaghan Martin. Check out this video to find out the nicknames everyone has for each other on set!

Marcus and Lucia are two young lovers on their way to marital bliss or so they think. You see, it’s their marriage, but when their parents get involved it becomes their parents’ wedding and their lives come crashing down right before their very eyes. Will love be enough or is the honeymoon over before the marriage has even began?

The first cast images from the newest DCOM "Avalon High" have been released.  The movie follows Allie Pennington (Britt Robertson), the daughter of two traveling professors who specialize in King Arthur's legend.  Allie enrolls as a student at Avalon High and is ecstatic when her parents break the news that she will be attending the school until graduation.  She can finally join the track team, make new friends and be a normal high school student.  But shortly after arriving at Avalon High, Allie discovers that something strange may be afoot.  While researching a term paper on King Arthury's legacy, Allie stars to notice some interesting parallels between the past and the present -- from handsome quarterback Will (Gregg Sulkin), his cheerleader girlfriend Jen (Molly Quinn) and their best friend Lance (Christopher Tavarez) to Will's brooding step-brother Marco (Devon Graye), a quirky kid named Miles (Joey Pollari) and football players who act like knights of the roundtable.  The deeper Allie searches, the more convinced she is that her school is a contemporary Camelot, and it's up to her to solve the mystery of Avalon High before notorious traitor Mordred wins again.  Look for Avalon High to premiere on The Disney Channel sometime in November. Peyton List may just be 12 years old but this little actress has more resume credits than her age!  Peyton has been working as an actress pretty much all of her life and at a mere 4 years of age she appeared on the soap opera As The World Turns.  She went on to make several guest appearances on shows like Saturday Night Live, Spider-Man 2 and Gossip Girl and appeard most recently in movies like 12 Dresses with Katherine Heigl and in with Robert Pattinson and Remember MeConfessions of a Shopaholic with Isla Fisher.  Take a look at her IMDB page and you will see that she has 8 projects that are scheduled for release in 2010.  How many other 12 year olds can you say that about?  Check out what Peyton had to say in our FLASH BACK (TO SCHOOL) interview!

Meaghan Martin is surely one of the busiest young actresses in Hollywood these days.  Meaghan may become the queen of sequels after starting what seems to be a trend with the short lived ABC Family series 10 Things I Hate About You based on the movie starring Julia Stiles and the late Heath Ledger.  Last summer she spent some time up on Vancouver filming the sequel to the internationally successful DCOM Camp Rock, which will make its debut on the Disney Channel in September.  Now she just wrapped production on a new film that will be released in Spring 2011 called Mean Girls 2, co-starring Jennifer Stone, Nicole Anderson, Maiara Walsh and Claire R. Holt!  Even with her extremely hectic filming schedule, Meaghan still takes her education seriously and plans to return to college later this fall.  Meaghan hand wrote her answers for our FLASH BACK (TO SCHOOL) interview. Canadian born actress Kirsten Prout graced our television screens for three years portraying Amanda, the girl-next-door and love interest of Kyle in the popular series Kyle XY.  Most recently, Kirsten can be seen in the blockbuster smash hit film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse portraying Lucy in one of the flashback sequences that set forth the grounding of Jasper Cullen, the Vampire. Young Hollywood starlet Stefanie Scott dazzled the red carpet at the premiere of her new film Flipped.  If you loved her outfit as much as we did then we've got the scoop on how YOU can get the look!  Stefanie's adorable baby blue dress was made by New York designer Terani Couture (www.teranicouture.com). Her purse and shoes were from Un Deux Trois of Beverly Hills (www.udtfashion.com). And the vintage butterfly hair clip she wore was her grandmothers.

Stefanie Scott attended the premiere of her new film Flipped yesterday in Los Angeles, which stars Madeline Caroll, Aidan Quinn, Callan McAullife, Penelope Ann Miller, Rebecca De Mornay, Anthony Edwards. Stefanie plays Dana Tressler in the film, which was and directed by Rob Reiner.  Check out some of these photos of Stefanie at the premiere yesterday. Flipped opens in theaters nationwide on August 6th. Stefanie can be seen next in a film with Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman portraying a young Natalie Portman. The title is currently labeled as the "Untitled Ivan Reitman Project" and is scheduled to be released in January 2011.

The stars of the hit movie Ramona and Beezus stopped by Ryan Seacrest talk about the movie.  Selena Gomez was put on vocal rest but made sure that she appeared in person at the interview and brought along Ramona co-star Joey King.  Selena also gave Ryan the scoop on her upcoming album and the song Katy Perry gave her for the new record.  Check out this video and see how hysterical little Joey King is around 5 minutes into the video where she breaks out singing Selena's single.  Have YOU seen Ramona and Beezus?  Let us know what YOU think!

The highly anticipated sequel to the 2004 smash hit Mean Girls is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide in Spring 2011. Principal production for Mean Girls 2 is now underway in Atlanta, Georgia featuring a host of fresh young stars. The story revolves around a new high school student, Jo (Meaghan Martin), who agrees to befriend an unpopular girl named Abby (Jennifer Stone) at the urging of Abby's weathy father in exchange for paying all of Jo's costs for the college of her dreams. Jo and Abby team up to take on the school's mean girls, "The Plastics" (played by Nicole Anderson, Maiara Walsh and Claire Holt).  The story becomes a high stakes battle of loyalty that ultimately comes to a head when one of our heroines finds out that her friendship has been bought and paid for. The highly anticipated Twilight: Eclipse film from The Twilight Saga opens in theatres nationwide tomorrow.  Last Thursday, some of Hollywood's biggest stars flocked to the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles to catch a glimpse at the stars and to be one of the first to see the movie before it hits theatres on Wednesday.  The stars of the film created quite the buzz on the carpet when they arrived, which included Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Dakota Fanning and much more! We also spotted some diehard twilight fans on the carpet as well like Aly and AJ Machalka, Sterling Knight, Taylor Spreitler, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, just to name a few!  Check out some of the photos we snapped at the hottest premiere to hit Hollywood this summer!

Many of our favorite stars checked off their wish list as they arrived the premiere of 16 Wishes on Tuesday night. 16 Wishes is the latest DCOM to hit the Disney tube starring Debby Ryan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Patricia Isaac and Karissa Tynes.  Debby Ryan invited her a-list friends to come see her leading role film debut, which included Tiffany Thornton, Nicole Anderson, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Bella Thorne, Ashley Argota, Doug Brochu, Alyson Stoner, the cast of Good Luck Charlie: Bridget Mendler, Jason Dolly, Ryan Newman and many more.  Debby's brother Chase Ryan was excited to see his sister up on the big screen.  The screening turned into quite the party as Backstage Creations hosted a fun after-party where the stars received some cool gifts to take him!

Ashley Argota and Doug Brochu were spotted drinking Coca-Cola from the new aluminum bottles. Stars like Bridgit Mendler were treated to Sushi Girl spicy tuna handrolls pre-movie and Chipotle burritos after the movie. Jason Dolley was seen interacting with Street Surfing scooters. Nicole Anderson, Monique Coleman and guests were enthralled with the Coveroo booth where they dropped off their phones to get customized cell phone covers while they watched the movie. Stars received gift bags containing Coca Cola tees, Hasbro Girl Talk games, Mackenzie Blue books, Studio C by Carolina Pad notebooks, 5 REACT™gum all packaged in cool Yak Pak bags! Thirteen year old actress Ariel Winter recently received some great news.  She was chosen to play the leading role opposite WWE star Triple H (aka Paul Michael Levesque) in the upcoming motion picture Chaperone. The film follows a recently released prisoner (Triple H) who embarks on a new life starting with rebuilding the relationship with his teenage daughter (Winter), chaperoning her class field trip that ends up involving a bank robbery.  Winter will play Sally, whose life turns into turmoil when her father, Ray, shows up after his release from prison.  Sally wants nothing to do with her father, but is forced to spend time with him when he chaperones her school field trip. 

Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release their hit DCOM StarStruck starring Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Danielle Campbell and Chelsea Staub to DVD on June 8th. Paramount Studios sent HTZ details on their open casting call which will take place in New York City on Saturday, May 8th.  They will be looking to cast three mail roles between the ages of 18-25 for a new feature film to be directed by David Chase.  The production is slated to begin this fall.  Paramount is responsible for films such as Shrek, Hotel for Dogs, Iron Man and many more.  Keep reading for more details!

Gregg Sulkin (Wizards of Waverly Place) and Britt Robertson (Life Unexpected) are getting ready to film their first ever DCOM in New Zealand entitled "Avalon High."  Both of the stars in the new DCOM have made quite the splash on our television screens last year.  Fans of Disney XD may remember seeing Gregg Sulkin in the popular series "As The Bell Rings" and later playing opposite Selena Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place.  Earlier this year you couldn't drive down the street without seeing billboards of breakout star Britt Robertson all over town and fans of The CW have embraced her new hit series "Life Unexpected."  Production has begun on the fantasy filled movie "Avalon High," which is based on the award-winning novel by Meg Cabot, best known for penning the fan favorite series The Princess Diaries.

Astrid Bergès-Frisbey has been selected by producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Rob Marshall to star in the key role of Syrena, a beautiful and alluring young mermaid, in Walt Disney Pictures’/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ epic adventure “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” the fourth in the blockbuster series of films.  Astrid joins Johnny Depp, returning in his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow.  This will feature will mark Astrid's U.S. debut. The film is slated to open on May 20, 2011.

Ryan Newman showed off her perfect curls as she arrived at The Perfect Game premiere at The Grove on Monday. Ryan was very excited to see the film which stars her close friend and fellow Disney star Ryan Ochoa.  Ryan admitted to Hollywood Teen'Zine that she is not very good at playing baseball but did reveal that she can pitch pretty good.  Check out this photo of Ryan during the event yesterday.

Alyson Stoner came out to support her friends and fellow disney stars at The Perfect Game premiere at The Grove on Monday.  Alyson arrived in her old sports gear from when she played baseball and even borrowed her sisters cleats since she outgrew her own.  We will be posting a video of Alyson talking about choosing her outfit for the premiere tomorrow so stay tuned for that!  Check out this photo we captured of Alyson meeting some of her fans and signing autographs at The Grove yesterday.

The cast of The Perfect Game took a moment from their busy schedule on Monday to stop and sign autographs for their fans who were lined up for hours to meet them before the film premiered at the Grove.  The film stars many Disney favorites such as Jake T. Austin, Ryan Ochoa, Moises Arias and Jansen Panettiere is set to release in theatres on April 16th.  Before the signing the cast sat down with select media outlets to speak about the movie. Bobby Coleman, who stars as in The Last Song in theaters today, has a cool item from the film that he will be auctioning on Ebay and a portion of the proceeds will be going to help the victims in Haiti.  There is a scene in the film where Bobby's character Jonah, takes Miley Cyrus' character Ronnie shopping for a dress to wear to Will's sisters wedding.  "This is the first dress she tries on, and after the scene finished filming I bought it, she signed it, and it'll be on ebay soon," Bobby Coleman posted on YouTube along with this video describing the dress scene in the video.  We will post a link to the auction once it goes live!
