Holly Robinson Peete through a super cool carnival bash today in honor of the release of her new book "My Brother Charlie" which she co-wrote with her daughter Ryan Elizabeth Peete. The book is about Ryan's twin brother Charlie who was diagnosed with autism when he was three years old. Holly Robinson-Peete explained to us that when her family found out about Charlie's condition there were no available resources to help the family better understand autism. Both mother and daughter hope that this book will give other families the ability to easily access the important information about autism. The event drew in some very philantropic celebrities including Meaghan Martin, Ryan Ochoa, Boo Boo Stewart, Fivel Stewart, Emily Grace Reaves, Yvette Nicole Brown, Blair Underwood, Alison Sweeney and many more. Ashley Argota and KSM were also on hand to perform for the kids and to help bring awareness to the cause. As guests walked behind the building they walked into a super fun carnival that had a jumbo slide, an aquarium (with sharks!!!), a rock climbing wall, face painting, a make-up section and many cool games and prizes. Lunch was provided by Outback Stake House, which included a gluten free selection. HTZ was invited to cover the event check out some of the moments we captured on the carpet! Videos from the red carpet and performance by KSM and Ashley Argota to follow shortly!

Mitchel Musso and The Carter Twins appeared at the Westfield Mall in Culver City last night to perform an acoustic set of music, which included two songs from the "A Very Special Christmas, Volume 7" CD. The Carter Twins took the stage first singing their hit singles "So What" and "Heart Like Memphis" and closed out their set with the holiday favorite "Let It Snow." When Radio Disney DJ and host of the event Ernie D announced Mitchel Musso the crowd went wild! Mitchel stepped onto the stage to perform his hit single "Shout It" and all the girls in the audience was singing along! He ended his two-song set with "Jingle Bell Rock," which is a song Mitchel picked for the Special Christmas album because it was more his style of music, although he did admit that he tries to incorporate many different styles into his music. Mitchel's good friends Raymond and Ryan Ochoa were in attendance to show their support and even talked to us about their favorite Mitchel songs. Raymond was quick to say that his favorite Mitchel song is "Shout It," while Ryan confessed his favorite being "The In Crowd". Both brothers agreed that Mitchel is a great performer and that they really enjoyed the show. There was a special Meet & Greet available for those who purchased a copy of the "A Very Special Christmas, Volume 7" album. All of the proceeds from the album sales last night benefitted the Special Olympics, purchase your copy here and support a great cause!. We talked to The Carter Twins and Mitchel Musso backstage after their concert so look for those videos to be posted later today! For now, check out the pictures we captured from the event! The red carpet was off to an early start Saturday morning as celebrities arrived to kick off the festivities surrounding the Los Angeles Revlon Run/Walk for Women. Held every year during mother's day weekend, the popular event draws over 50,000 people every year to honor women who have survived cancer and to remember those who have passed away. Some of the stars who attended this years events had a personal attachment to the cause. After a difficult struggle with breast cancer last year, Christina Applegate was on hand to talk about her victory and to speak of the importance of exams. "Today I stand on this stage and I want to thank all of your for the support and love and encouragement you have given me during this past tumultuous year," Christina said to the welcoming crowd. Keana Texeira of The G-Girlz walked with Lesley Vogel (Jansen and Hayden Panettiere's mother) and Diane Samonas (Daniel Samonas' mother). "I did my first marathon with 2 of the coolest moms I know!" Keana says. Keana walked in honor of her grandmother Isabell (who died of pancreatic cancer in 2000) and great grandmother Buena (who died of breast cancer in 2006). This year Clarasound donated $200,000 to the foundation. Celebrities also on hand included Miley Cyrus, Jennette McCurdy, Rachel Fox, Derek Hough, Marcia Cross, and many more.
